Excellent mower cuts well and once you find the right height for your lawn will keep it looking great. needs to be able to get closer to the edges though.

In terms of area coverage, the 1500 is perfect for my single family home with a front yard and back yard. I heard from other reviews that setup was a little tricky, but it was pretty straight forward for me. I had to relocate the RTK sensor because it was in a bad spot at first, but once I got it setup, it ran perfectly! Perhaps it is not the easiest thing to setup for someone that's not very tech savy, but I love technology so this was a fun project for me.I love the fact that it uses a standard set of razer blades for cutting. No proprietary blade to buy = cheap maintenance. I haven't even had to replace them yet but looks like they screw on and off pretty easily.And support is great and super responsive! I had one little issue setting it up and they were very helpful. They have a live chat which is always great for technical issues. They are able to pull the log and know exactly what's going on.When it is mowing, the robot is as quiet as a microwave. Oh, and I had it mow during the night and it actually worked, and it was quiet so it didn't bother anyone!

So far, so good! We are on day 1! I first did the update and changed the settings to 11” cutting width! I then went ahead and mapped my backyard. Once finished, it asked if I wanted to save it….. I said yes…. But it never saved. So I moved on and started to map the front side of my house. It was a success!
I sat out a lawn chair and watched as it ran through the front side of my house. It was set to the quickest speed setting and took 75 minutes to complete, which seemed a bit slow to me…
I did lose GPS signal for a good 20 minutes. I eventually moved the lawn mower, and it started going again, but my lawn “lines” were completely crooked after that.
Either way, it was a success for day 1. It is now charging and I will map the other side of the front yard tomorrow!
*It does not do smart mapping like a robot vacuum. It will take the exact route that you map out for your border! - in case you were wondering! :) *
